I’m 37 going on 19. My gran taught me to knit when I was a wee girl, and I have gone back to it off and on; until last year, when she passed away. Someone had to keep the tradition going, and there was no one else willing to knit wildly grotesque jumpers for my three-year old nephew, who is the light of my life.
My OH hates knitting with a passion, but he’ll tolerate it so long as I don’t knit him anything. At all. Ever. All the more knitting for me and the nephew I say!
I’ve been a bit of a gypsy over the course of the last 37 years; when I moved into my current abode I’d chalked up 17 moves! That’s a lot of cardboard boxes.
I have a job I neither love nor hate, it keeps me in yarn, that’s all I need.
