What you need to know
Knit stylish storage baskets, made with chunky yarn, using this easy pattern.
Made using bulky recycled T-shirt yarn, Siân Brown's super chunky baskets will charm and cheer in equal measure. The classic moss stitch pattern that features in this design takes on a new lease of life when knitted up with this distinctive yarn, looking fabulous in its magnified form, and helping to create a structured yet delightfully squishy texture. Pop them in your bathroom to hold your favourite beauty products, or stow away anything else you like in them!

Top knit tip
The yarn used in this design has some variations in thickness and elasticity as well as some knots throughout the ball due to its nature as a recycled fibre, so embrace the unique texture it creates! Use plastic or metal needles, as more slippery materials tend to work more smoothly with this kind of yarn, and take care not to stretch it too much as you knit.
