Top knit tips

This project is great for busting that stash – try using odds and ends of your favourite colours to really personalise your teacosy.

The picot edging on this project will help to prevent the base of the teacosy Panels from curling, as well as adding a pretty finishing touch. To create the picot effect, this pattern asks you to fold the edging at Row 5 and stitch in place on the wrong-side of the teacosy, but if sewing-up is your least favourite part of making up, don't worry! Insert your RH needle into the first stitch on the cast- on row and then into the first stitch on Row 6. Work these two stitches together. Repeat for the remaining stitches.
