Yarn: Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Solids, shades 00001 White, 01130 Warm Brown, one 70g ball of each, 00082 Jute, six 70g balls
Needles: 5.5mm
Cardboard box: medium-sized (to fit finished 34cm x 105cm basket)
Tapestry needle
Sizing
Circumference: 105cm
Depth: 34cm
Top knit tips
For secure handles, make sure they are attached through both layers of knitting at the top of the basket, and for extra strength and minimal stretch you can sew a strip of cotton tape to (or inside) each handle if the basket is going to hold any real weight.
Pin the facial features to the basket before sewing them into place.
